Easy to Operate

The Adaptive Mobility Systems, Inc. (AMS) wheelchair conversion is one of the easiest conversions to operate. Each wheelchair van includes controls to operate your power ramp from inside or outside of the van. In case your vehicle battery lost power, we have installed a manual back-up option for the wheelchair ramp so you won't be stranded. After all, connecting you with your destination is our goal!

In an effort to make sure you are only paying for the options you need, the AMS conversion is very simple. Together, we will decide if any additional options or equipment are appropriate for you. Easy to Repair

At Adaptive Mobility Systems, Inc. their priority is to keep you on the road. The conversion design maintains as much of the original vehicle's structure as possible. The AMS conversion does not include a kneeling system for this very reason. Kneeling systems are known for having mechanical problems. They have added 3 inches to the length of the wheelchair ramp to eliminate the need for a kneeling system, therefore giving you one less thing to worry about breaking.
