Mobility Consignment Program
AMS Vans can help you sell a wheelchair accessible vehicle, whether it was previously purchased from us or another handicap van dealer. Through AMS Vans’ Mobility Consignment Program, we place an ad for your adapted vehicle on our own used wheelchair vans page, handle sales inquiries, and sell your vehicle for you! You keep the title while the ad is running, and the ad will run until your adapted car, van, truck, SUV, or minivan sells.
How the Mobility Consignment Program Works
To qualify for the mobility consignment program, your wheelchair accessible vehicle must be in good working condition, be less than 10 years old, and have less than 100,000 miles on it. The mobility conversion must have been professionally done and include a ramp or lift. Separate mobility equipment is not sold through the Mobility Consignment Program.
After talking with one of our mobility professionals, you can bring your wheelchair accessible vehicle directly to our Atlanta, GA location, or pickup/delivery is available nationwide for a nominal fee. Our trained evaluators will inspect your handicap accessible vehicle for $200 to determine if any work may be required in order for it to qualify to be in our mobility consignment program.
After its inspection (and any additional repairs have been made), your vehicle qualifies as a certified used vehicle and will be listed in our main used AMS Vans inventory, as prominently placed as any other newly modified wheelchair van in our fleet. It will remain listed until it sells, or unless you provide a written request to remove it from our sites.
