Yes, it was a little scary purchasing a van "online"! But after "comparison shopping", I could not bet the price. My salesman was well versed with the product and I never felt pressured. They delivered my van to my door and was willing to take the van back if I wasn't satisfied! The Van exceeded my expectation very high quality product. I would recommend AMS Vans to any 1st time buyers.
I recently purchased a 2013 Dodge Caravan from AMS Vans. I accidentally called Ams by mistake. My mother is paralyzed and I have an old 1990 Chevy Z220 handicap accessible van and I was having problems with the electrical ramp and doors. When I called Ams I thought I was calling to a local place in Davenport, Iowa. Well, Todd being the wonderful person he is informed me they were based out of Georgia, but that they deliver conversion vans all over. First , of all I wasn't looking for a new fan because I thought we could not afford it. I must share some things about myself. I am very inpatient, and I never stay on the phone for sale pitches. I believe I was a little rude to Todd at first, but he never showed any irritation or frustration with me. I am a very hard person to convince to buy something over the phone, especially not a new 2013 conversion van. Todd was very patient courteous, and listen to me rant a few times, but he never gave up. He exhibited a lot of compassion, and patience and he wasn't like the other pushy salesperson at the dealership. Todd was literally on the phone with us about 1 12 hours. Answering every question I through at him. The biggest problem I had was accepting a new van just off pictures on the website. He actually was certain that I would like the van and would not return it. Of, course my negative thinking was unsure how he could be so sure. We provided my mother's wheelchair measurements, and gave them to him. After all of this, then there was finanancing. OH NO!!!! I just knew we wouldn't qualify and he was certain we were, and low and behold we did qualify. I've walked away from a lot of salespeople dt their attitude or mine. I don't know how Todd didn't just say forget it, and drop the sale, but he did not. We had problems with our fed ex service delivering contract to the wrong address, and Brian immediately sent them out the next day. They promised us the van by the weekend, and I thought because of the paper delay we wouldn't get it. They didn't have rm on a flat bed for the weekend, but asked us if we would mind if the extra miles were on van, but that they would drive it down to us. I was amazed at how concerned everyone was at AMS VANS, and they were all about our family needs. Never, did I feel like it was a pushed commission sale or about the money. The family at AMS really are caring, compassionate, personable people. When the driver pulled up in our driveway, I didn't think it was our van. It looked beautiful, and it didn't stand out as a handicapped van. My mother was so surprised. She got to ride in style to a concert, and I have been able to transport her everywhere. We go on shopping outings, and drive back forth 2 hours to Peoria, IL for her wound treatment. Receiving this van was a blessing from God. It has made a tremendous improvement in my mother's quality of life. She is now able to go anywhere she want's. The funny thing is now my mom says to my wife and I," Yall better keep my van clean. I'm not playing. I want my luxury Van to remain just that." LOL!!!! My family would like to think all of the family for making the greatest change in our family. Rest assure we will be back in a few years to trade this one in for a newer model. Your Life Time Customers. Sincerely, Keena and Lisa Kelley. East-Moline, IL
With one intense headache my wife's life changed forever. We quickly realized that transferring her in and out of a wheel chair from my car was too much. My search was on for a van that would accommodate her needs. Spending hours each night I researched all the manufactures and weighed the pros and cons of each conversion.
Once I was educated, it was a no brainer. AMS won hands down from all the others. Conversions vary widely and I chose AMS because of the safety factors they retain with their conversions. I was, also, very impressed by the large inventory on hand at any given time.
Living hundreds of miles from Atlanta, I purchased a van, sight unseen. Their website had countless pictures of each van offered along with all the options and most importantly the price. One phone call to Jill and the ball was rolling. Couldnt have been any easier. No surprises, everything was up front and as it was advertised.
The van has opened up a whole new world of mobility and freedom for us and I would recommend an AMS conversion to anyone needing a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
Took eric to a doctor's appointment yesterday and it was a breeze! He was comfortable and happy and i was able to transport him with ease. We really do love eric's van and want to thank you, onceagain, for all of your time, kindness, and patience. In the words of seinfeld's george castanza "it is so wonderful that it almost makes you want to be handicapped".We couldn't have asked for a better buying experience. Thank you again. Judy

Thank you for your help and patience in working with us over the past seven months to purchase a van from AMS for my special-needs grandson.
This has been a difficult time for my family as we continue to mourn his mom's (my daughter's) untimely passing. We wanted to be sure we were good stewards in decisions about how her insurance proceeds are used. We are pleased with our decision to purchase an AMS van. The customized Dodge Crew Cab from AMS gives my grandson greater mobility, convenience and comfort; and it relieves his dad from some of the daily physical challenges in lifting and transporting his son. Thank you again for the patient and pleasant buying experience my family and I enjoyed. Please feel free to share our appreciation with your management and future customers.
