Our decision to choose AMS Vans was an easy one. They provided a cost-effective, one-stop shop for our mobility needs. Even after shopping the local competition - within a 100 mile radius - AMS Vans still had the best value for the best price. HANDS DOWN!
Your next Adventure Van! The Van: This 2005 Dodge Diesel Sprinter Passenger Van, 2500 series, is wheelchair accessible and ready to play. It has been very well maintained and in great condition. Owned first by the University of Colorado Ski team, then by our Crazy Family in 2010, We are ready to pass the baton to the next generation of adventure seeking, freewheeling, road friendly families. The Details: 152K miles Seats 7, plus someone in a wheelchair. If you wanted to have the option to remove the ramp and add more seating, there is 3 seat bench that comes with it. New Tires, A set of studded tires, HUGE cargo space in the back (we throw several bikes, camping gear, boats, etc…in this rig) , high top ( a 6’ foot person can stand up in it). DVD Player and headphones, Brakes and shocks within the last three years, Mercedes Diesel Engine (hundreds thousands of miles left to go) 20mpg. I have all papers from the time we owned it. The Lift: A Braun Vangator II, Trifold electric ramp that folds in when it’s in up position, so as not to block the windows, and very simple to operate. There are Q straints installed on the floor and the wheelchair can face either direction The Price: $17,000. There is a lot of potential, and a lot of life left in this van. It has great pick up, handles smoothly, extremely safe, and could be renovated into an overnight vehicle. I don’t want to separate the lift and van, but if you want to, there is some money to be had for just the lift.
