Chrysler, Dodge, Volkswagen and Honda have accessibility programs1 for their minivans, providing some reimbursement for accessibility needs.
Chrysler & Dodge "Automobility" Program2
When you buy a new 2010, 2011 or 2012 Town & Country or Grand Caravan, Chrysler Group gives you a cash reimbursement toward your purchase of adaptive equipment on your vehicle.
Volkswagen Mobility Access Program2
Volkswagen provides up to $1,000 towards the purchase and installation of mobility-access equipment in a new VW Routan. If modifications are less than $1,000, that amount is reimbursed.
Honda Customer Mobility Assistance2
Eligible buyers of a new Odyssey minivan receive up to $1,000 from Honda toward the purchase and installation of AMS adaptive equipment. Offer applies only to the original owner of the Odyssey minivan or the immediate family member needing mobility access. The vehicle must be purchased in the U.S. at an authorized Honda dealership. The written reimbursement request must be received within six (6) months of AMS' installation of the adaptive equipment.
