Join AMS Vans and hundreds of participants ready to run, walk, and roll to raise money for Friends of Disabled Adults and Children. FODAC provides wheelchairs, medical supplies and other equipment to people with disabilities and the elderly in the metro Atlanta area. At this year's event, you'll meet Amiee Copeland!
Aimee is a sweet, adventurous 24-year-old who now studies humanistic psychology at the University of Georgia. Not long ago, she was enjoying a day with friends, surrounded by nature, when a homemade zip line malfunctioned as Aimee slid through the trees. Her wounds developed necrotizing fasciitis, which led to amputations and failure of five major organs. Her now-famous story of survival will inspire you!
AMS Vans will be there, too, with one of our AMS Vans wheelchair vans, along with an experienced mobility consultant to demonstrate the van and answer your questions.
The Run, Walk ‘n’ Roll begins Saturday, May 4 at Confederate Hall in Stone Mountain Park. Registration starts at 7 a.m. and the Run is at 8 am and Walk ‘n’ Roll start at 9:00am.
Once again I want to thank you and the AMS Vans crew we worked with. I still can't believe how easy and convenient your company made the process of purchasing and delivering the van.
